Ultrasonic Sensor

An ultrasonic sensor is a device that uses sound waves with frequencies higher than the audible range of human hearing (typically above 20 kHz) to detect the presence, distance, or characteristics of objects in its vicinity. It has a distance range of 6 meters.

Ultrasonic Sensor
  • VCC (or +5V): This pin is connected to the power supply and provides the necessary voltage for the sensor to operate. It typically requires a stable DC voltage, commonly 5 volts, although the voltage requirement can vary depending on the specific sensor model.
  • GND (or Ground): This pin is connected to the ground of the power supply, completing the circuit and providing a reference voltage for the sensor's operation.
  • Trigger (Trig): The trigger pin is used to initiate the ultrasonic pulse transmission. When a digital signal is sent to this pin (commonly a pulse of high voltage or a logic high signal), the sensor emits a short burst of ultrasonic waves.
  • Echo (Echo): The echo pin is used to receive the reflected ultrasonic waves that bounce back from objects in the sensor's detection range. The time it takes for the echo signal to return to the sensor is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object.

Flame Sensor

A flame sensor, also known as a flame detector, is a specialized electronic device designed to detect the presence of flames or fire. It plays a crucial role in fire safety and protection systems by providing early detection of fires.

Flame Sensor
  • VCC – Power Supply Input
  • GND – Power Supply Ground
  • DO – Digital Output

Servo Motor

A servo motor is a rotary actuator that allows for precise control of angular position, velocity, and acceleration. It is widely used in various applications, including robotics, automation, remote control systems, and industrial machinery.

Relay Module

A relay is an electromechanical switch that uses an electromagnet to mechanically open or close electrical contacts.

Relay Module
  • VCC – This pin supplies 5 volts of power from the board.
  • GND – Ground pins are used to ground the circuit.
  • IN – This is signal pin which is connected to the board.
  • COM – Common terminal of the relay.
  • NO – Normally open terminal of the relay.
  • NC – Normally closed contact of the relay.

Rain Sensor

A rain sensor is a device used to detect rainfall and trigger actions or responses accordingly.

Rain Sensor
  • VCC – Power Supply 5V
  • GND – Power Supply Ground
  • DO – Provides Digital Output
  • AO – Provides Analog Output

MQ-2

The MQ-2 sensor is a type of gas sensor commonly used to detect various gases, including LPG, propane, hydrogen, methane, and smoke.

MQ2 Gas Sensor
  • VCC – Power Supply 5V
  • GND – Power Supply Ground
  • DO – Provides Digital Output
  • AO – Provides Analog Output

LCD_I2C

The I2C LCD component is used in applications that require a visual or textual display.

LCD I2C
  • VCC – This pin supplies 5 volts of power from the board.
  • GND – Ground pins are used to ground the circuit.
  • SDA – The serial data pin carries data between devices.
  • SCL – The serial clock pin is a clock signal that synchronizes data transfer.

Soil Moisture Sensor

The Soil Moisture Sensor uses capacitance to measure dielectric permittivity of the surrounding medium.

Soil Moisture Sensor
  • VCC – Power Supply 5V
  • GND – Power Supply Ground
  • DO – Provides Digital Output
  • AO – Provides Analog Output
